Mitchell “Mitch” Binford, age 68, of Stillwater, MN, passed away on November 11, 2025, surrounded by his beloved family. Born on January 20, 1957, in Greenfield, IN, Mitch lived a life rich with love, laughter, and a deep passion for connecting with those around him.

Mitch dedicated many years to his work in the manufacturing industry, retiring from Andersen Windows in 2017. He was known not only for his skill as a factory worker but also for the camaraderie he built with his colleagues, many of whom became lifelong friends. Above all, Mitch cherished time spent with his family, creating memories that will carry their love forward. 

In his spare time, Mitch could often be found playing or watching hockey, enjoying the thrill of the game with family and friends. He embraced his outdoorsy spirit through hunting and relished afternoons on the golf course, where the joy of sport blossomed into laughter and friendly competition.

Mitch is survived by his devoted wife of 43 years, Diana Binford, as well as their children Carly (Erick) Ohman and Cole (Stacy) Binford. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Briggs and Hadley Ohman and Remmy Binford. Mitch’s legacy will also live on through his brothers, Mark (Kathleen) Binford and Michael Binford, his sister-in-law Kathy Binford, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and cherished friends who were touched by his warmth and kindness.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Doris and James, and his brother Matthew, who embraced him with love throughout his journey.
