1957-2023
Duncan D. Miller Sr., aged 65, unexpectedly passed away on June 16th, 2023, in Gold Canyon, AZ. He was born on August 21st, 1957, at St. Mary's Hospital in Minneapolis, MN, and grew up in Stillwater, MN.Duncan was preceded in death by his parents, Duane and Elizabeth, his brothers Dewey and Dana, and his sister Mary Hetler. He is survived by his domestic partner, Jodi Lynn, his sons Duncan "DJ," Corey (Orlean), Patrick (Allison), and their mother Maureen Kelly.
He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren Peyton, Baylee, Dana, Harper, and Vivian. Duncan is remembered by his sisters Linda Kult, Anna O'Rourke (John Berg), Helen (Paul) Laidig, Laura (Mark) Sullivan, and numerous nieces and nephews. His furry friends "T," Blaze, Freddie, Stella, and of course Ginger were also an important part of his life.
Duncan dedicated his entire career as a truck equipment salesman, showcasing his strong work ethic. He possessed a genuine passion for classic cars, Harley motorcycles, and Minnesota sports. Duncan's enthusiasm for these interests was contagious, and he shared many memorable moments with his loved ones while pursuing his hobbies.
His passing leaves a significant void in the lives of those who knew him best, and Duncan will be deeply missed. His family invites friends and relatives to join them in celebrating his life on Saturday, July 1st, at the Laidig home, located at 509 Bauer Rd, Hudson, WI, from 1-3 p.m. A short remembrance ceremony will take place at 2 p.m. Donations in Duncan's memory are appreciated and can be directed to either the family or the Woodbury Humane Society, reflecting his compassion for animals.
