Paul Nesbit Johnson was born in Bordeaux, France on August 25, 1957, and died in Caldwell, Idaho on April 22, 2023 from Mental Illness.
Paul, or Wally, was an artist, craftsman, teacher, and mentor. Paul grew up in Bayport, Minnesota, and graduated from Stillwater High School in 1975. He graduated from Colorado College in 1979.
He worked for many years at the Deep Powder House in Alta, Utah, custom-fitting ski boots and mentoring the staff. He created custom cabinetry and furniture. He tutored and taught those who had learning difficulties. Paul was passionate about skiing, biking, bird watching, and his friends.
Paul is survived by sisters Sara in Denver, CO, Linda in Colorado Springs, CO; brother Doug in Vail, CO; aunt and cousins in Omaha, NE; and nieces and nephews everywhere. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
