COVID-19 Concerns...
As our 45th+1 Class Reunion approaches we would like to pass on some event information relating to COVID-19.
We want everyone to feel comfortable and at ease about the event and also provide information so you can make the best decision as far as attending.
At this time the event will be held indoors at The Stillwater Country Club on September 18th. In the event of a change to local indoor health guidelines we have the option of hosting the event there outdoors in a large tent. This would add an additional cost and the amount would depend on how many people attended. An increase of $10-$20 is estimated.
The per person cost now is $19.75 or $25 the day of. We want everyone who has been a part of our class whether it was grade school only, Junior High or just a year of High School to attend. Also financial help has been donated by generous classmates to allow all to attend.
As of now the reunion and food will be similar to our past two reunions at Stillwater Country Club.
The food will be served Buffet style. There will be several vegetarian options and a large sheet cake. Snacks on tables will be in cups or individually wrapped.
Beverages will be available for purchase at the bar.
Classmates we have lost will be remembered in a video.
The management at Stillwater Country Club is committed to hosting a fun and safe event. They will follow all health guidelines that are in place at the time of the reunion.
- All their employees are vaccinated.
- Masks and hand sanitizer will be available.
- There is outdoor seating for approximately 50 people serviced by waitstaff.
- As many windows as possible will remain open to provide good ventilation.
- Vaccinated individuals will have a good defense on top these safety measures.
The Stillwater Country Club is committed to excellent service and the safety of everyone. We have received nothing but praise about their service after our past two reunions.
The virus has been difficult and we look forward to gathering again, a year later than expected but in a safe and fun environment.
Please be safe driving home after event. Accommodations can be made to get you and your vehicle home or arrangements such as taxis will be available.
